Using webinars for content marketing isn’t a new phenomenon, but they continue to gain in popularity as the benefits are demonstrated time and time again. In a recent study by the Content Marketing Institute, we see a marked increase in recent years in the use of webinars as a tactic to deliver B2B content. Additionally, marketers rank webinars in the top three of all marketing tactics for effectiveness. Webinars help build thought leadership, create brand awareness and are very helpful for relationship building. Add the additional benefit of them being cost effective and producing a good return on investment and you’ve got yourself one heck of a marketing tool!
To make webinars even more successful, marketers are broadening the scope of how they use webinars and applying them across the full spectrum of the buyer’s journey. You just have to think beyond the traditional uses, simple screen sharing and demo types of interaction, and find new ways use webinars to build and engage audiences to ultimately drive marketing success.
